Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology and Pediatrics at University of Buffalo School of Medicine


Born and raised through high school in New York City, Dr. Poje studied  biology at Yale University before attending medical school at the University of Pennsylvania.  After internship, Dr. Poje served as a captain in the United States Army Medical Corps, serving as Chief of Emergency Services at the Stuttgart, Germany Army Hospital   He left the army to pursue ENT residency and pediatric ENT fellowship in Philadelphia and joined the University at Buffalo/Children’s Hospital of Buffalo ENT faculty in 1995.  He is active on several committees of The American Academy of Otolaryngology and has presented at many academic meetings.  He is also a member of The American Academy of Pediatrics, The American College of Surgeons, the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology, as well as state and local societies.
