These brownies are delicious with a very deep chocolate flavor. Add some milk-free chocolate chips to the batter for more gooey goodness. To make brownies easy to remove from tray, spray pan with cooking spray then line pan with parchment paper.This recipe is milk free (milk free margarine/chocolate chips), egg, nut and soy free.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (2 sticks margarine melted, milk free if needed)
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup flour
  • ¾ cup cocoa
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt

Blend margarine, sugar and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients together. Then add dry ingredients to wet and mix well. Pour in greased and lightly floured 9 x 13 pan. Bake 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. You can add ½ cup (milk free) semi-sweet chocolate chips to the batter, if you like.

Step 1

Blend margarine, sugar and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients together. Then add dry ingredients to wet and mix well.

Pour in greased and lightly floured 9 x 13 pan.

Bake 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

You can add ½ cup (milk free) semi-sweet chocolate chips to the batter, if you like.
