She graduated, magna cum laude, from SUNY Buffalo, School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in 1992. She completed her Otolaryngology residency in Buffalo in 1997 and then completed a 2 year pediatric otolaryngology fellowship at Egleston Children\u2019s Hospital in Atlanta, GA. Immediately following her fellowship, she began her pediatric ENT career in Memphis, TN at LeBonheur Children\u2019s Hospital. In 2001, she returned to Buffalo and joined PENTA.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Behar is board certified and a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.entnet.org\/\">American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology<\/a>. She has a particular interest in cooking for people with food allergies or dietary restrictions and is an avid supporter of Kids with Food Allergies (KFA) and Food Allergy Research and Education (FARE).
