The COVID-19 test is an oral swab (similar to a swab for strep throat) and will be a drive through setting. There are 3 different locations where the testing can take place, therefore you will be able to schedule a time and location that is most convenient for you. The staff at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ochbuffalo.org\">Oishei Children\u2019s Hospital<\/a> will contact you directly to schedule the testing. The call may come up as \u201cSpam Risk\u201d on caller ID, so <strong>please ensure that your voicemail box is not full<\/strong> as they will leave a detailed message if you miss the call. <strong>If you do not hear from the hospital regarding scheduling Pre-Operative COVID-19 testing and your child\u2019s procedure is about 2 weeks away, please call our office at (716)-362-9730. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<strong style=\"font-size: 18px;\">If your child is having their surgical procedure at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ascwny.com\/\">The Ambulatory Surgery Center of WNY<\/a>, the following information pertains through COVID testing:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The COVID testing will occur 4 days prior to the procedure date. The test is an oral swab (similar to a swab for strep throat). The COVID test is administered\u00a0in a drive through setting. The testing will be done through KSL Diagnostics and will take place at 1000 Youngs Road, Buffalo, NY 14221. Our office staff will arrange the Pre-Operative COVID-19 testing for you and call you with the time of the appointment on the designated day, so <strong style=\"font-size: 18px;\">please make sure that your voicemail box is not full<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"> as we will leave you a detailed message if you miss the call.
