A telehealth video visit feature offers an easy and HIPPA compliant way to communicate with our patients during this difficult time. You will be able to have a virtual visit with your provider in the comfort of your own home. During the COVID-19 crises, there will be no copay, coinsurance or deductible payment charged for a telehealth video visit with your care providers of Pediatric Ear, Nose and Throat Associates of Buffalo. There is no need for any app downloads or plugins. You can use either your smartphone, desktop or laptop computer that has camera and microphone capability.
Connecting to a Telehealth Video Visit from Home:
You will need a device with camera and microphone capability to participate in a telehealth video visit. When the video visit appointment is made, we will require a cell phone number and carrier, or an email address. To ensure you receive the video visit information, we require a cell phone number to send a visit link to the patient. When the video visit is scheduled, you will receive a text or email with the appointment details and a link. You may test the link out prior to the appointment. It is encouraged to connect via WIFI to avoid mobile data charges.
When it is time for the telehealth video visit appointment with your provider, simply click on the link that was sent via text or email. You will then connect with your provider for the encounter. When the visit is over, the call will be ended via the red button on the bottom of your screen.
